Rowe Price, a large mutual fund complex in Baltimore; Sam Pickett – Equity Research Analyst at Credit Suisse, a bulge bracket investment bank in New York City; Joey Hoffmann – Analyst at Camber Capital Management, a healthcare-focused hedge fund in Boston; and Matt Tomczyk – Corporate Credit Analyst at Northwestern Mutual Investment, a large insurance company in Milwaukee. Potential intern positions could include placement within: Data Science, Equity or Credit Research, Portfolio Analysis, and Responsible Investment Research. In addition to specific on-the-job learning, the program will also be supplemented with several networking opportunities and broad asset management overview sessions. Additionally, all interns will prepare a presentation based on their specific experience. Upon successful completion of the internship, full-time employment offers fot the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Leadership development Program may be extended. Nick Klar and Rich Gross, both UW-ASAP alumni, will be on campus to talk w/ students interested in the opportunities on September 17th and then on October 9th and 10th to interview students for these opportunities. They will also be hosting a meet & greet at the Fluno Center from 6PM to 8PM on Oct 9th. All students interested in these opportunities need to apply via the Ameriprise website (link below).
